Gold Hill
This steep cobbled street is in the town of Shaftesbury in the English county of Dorset.
It became famous as the scene of a very popular 1973 British advert (for bread) which has been voted Britain's favourite advertisement of all time.
The view also features in calendars, etc as it typifies a (perhaps fanciful) idyllic English scene of yesteryear.
This photo replicates a similar one I took many years ago.
