A Sphinx
"The" Sphinx, located next to the pyramids at Giza is of course the one everyone knows about but there are in fact many Sphinx in Egypt, of differing sizes and at different locations.
This picture was taken in 1984 and as far as I can remember it was in the area of Memphis, South of Cairo.
