Troubling Waters

MRL's Laurel-Bozeman train heads west along the Yellowstone River outside of Columbus, MT. In June, much of Montana was hit with a period of heavy flooding, ultimately claiming one life and costing the state $29 million in damage. On this summer day, the Yellowstone is noticeably high and discolored from the amount of earth swept away by the rising water levels.
