Grumpy’s Pumper Truck - HTT
I love the name of this company. This is a pumper truck. A hopper on the back of this truck receives the concrete via a trough from the concrete truck. The arm is extended over the metal forms and a large hose is used to transfer the wet concrete between the forms. Two men stand on top of the wall and guide the hose back and forth to fill the frame. The next day the frames are all removed and voila - just like that you have a 10 foot concrete foundation on which to build your house. It was quite an operation to watch. It took four concrete trucks all lined up waiting, because the pour had to be continuous.
