Need a Cement Tabletop?

(An Earl and Daryl Story)

What else could they make here? There are several large round cement medallions that look like they could be table tops for the wooden spools sitting in the yard. I can’t help but think cement might be too heavy for a tabletop.

“No! No! Put the turkey platter in the center of the table don’t put it down on one side! What did I tell you, Daryl?”

“But, Earl, I didn’t think the whole table would go over!”

“Of course, it tipped over. The wooden base holds virtually no weight unless it is perfectly balanced. In fact, if you rest your elbows on one side of the table you have to yell, ‘Arms!”

“What does that mean, Earl?”

“It means that if your cousin, Little Big Bob Is sitting across from you he has to rest his arms on the table immediately to balance the weight!”

“But what if nobody is sitting across from me?”

“Well, Daryl then you better not put your arms down on the table. If isn’t polite anyway. Now call in the dogs!”

There are several cement medallions of different sizes sitting around with pictures painted on them of crabs and such. You can see a yellow one in the foreground. So maybe these are craft pieces that you prop against your barn or fence. They could crush a cat or small child if they fell over though.

No, I don’t know how much they are?
