Need a Turkey?
Apparently the turkeys are all running around in these woods instead of being in the grocery stores. The funny thing is that for years before I took this picture there was no stone lane here. I was trying to figure out why it was named turkey run when obviously the turkeys could barely move through all the trees and underbrush. There wasn’t going to be any running. A few weeks before I took this photo someone put in a private lane. So now they can run a short distance.
We do have wild turkeys in this area, but they seem to like the farmers’ fields better than this wooded area.
I’ll be around sporadically Tuesday-Sunday.
I hope all my American friends have a very Happy Thanksgiving with family and friends.
