If you want to keep out trespassers, it might be advantageous to put up two fences. Here we have an iron fence which looks old but still quite sturdy. In front of that we have a wooden fence attached to stone columns. This wooden fence needs some repair. There are other stone columns on the fenceline but they don’t seem to be equidistant from each other and they don’t all have wooden slats attached.
I’d say the message here is, “We wanted to keep you out years ago, but now we just don’t care.” HFF
