A welcome visitor to my garden as it briefly basked in the very hazy Autumn sunshine. When it settled on the wall of my house I managed to capture a few shots with my Canon compact.
Not a regular garden visitor where I live. This butterfly is more commonly found in our wooded areas just a short way from general human habitation.
