Grass snake (Natrix helvetica) 2020-08-29. Parc Slip, Aberkenfig, South Wales

A very fortunate and very welcome capture as the sun appeared from behind the clouds. I managed to obtain a few images from about 4.5 metres away as it paused in the water. Ever so thankful for giving me just enough precious time before continuing its swim across the pond.
