Cockchafer Beetle - Male (Melolontha melolontha) 2020-05-08. Aberkenfig, South Wales
Encountered in my garden while lunar observing. I luckily obtained a few images while it rested on my shoe then the patio table. It also managed to invade the kitchen as the door was slightly ajar. It was rescued and subsequently released outdoors into the night.
