Lunar South is uppermost.

A fascinating lunar feature when observed under a low sun. Lamont is a lava buried crater found in the Mare Tranquillitatis. It is accompanied by many interesting wrinkle ridges that surround it. To the north and west of the partly shadow filled crater Arago lie the irregular lunar domes Arago Alpha and Arago Beta.
