Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus) & Prey 2019-01-20. Aberkenfig, South Wales

I became aware of a cacophony of noise from the numerous jackdaws and magpies flying around the lower end of our street and perched on the branches of a tree that grows there. This alerted me to witness this act of nature. A very hungry bird of prey which managed to take an unfortunate Jackdaw.
