This Death Star II is actually a modification I made back on 2019 of a original MOC made by 집중, it started to be just an attempt to improve the MOC's laser weapon and from there it just got out of my control, improving little by little, the structure, the outside shell and giving more and more detail.
It was actually made after another MOC i've made, in an attempt to make a more budget friendly Death Star II (only 1336 bricks) as my original MOC was too expensive, it was also a way to get a cheaper Death Star II, because at the time I wasn't planning on getting the set 10143 Death Star II, little did I know.
Anyway what started as simple modification soon became a almost full MOC as most of the build is quite different as to the original, but never the less it was inspired by this already cool MOC by 집중. It was a challenge to make it digitally and it is a really fun build, with some interesting building technics, at least for me.
