CFR 64 1000 Bistra
Noch gibt es eine direkte Verbindung von Sighetu Marmației im Norden Rumäniens zur Hauptstadt Bukarest in Form des R 4116 nach Beclean pe Someş, der zwei Kurswagen mitführt, die von dort im IRN 1642 weiter nach Bukarest fahren. Die Zukunft der schönen Gebirgsstrecke und damit auch der durchgehenden Nachtzugverbindung ist allerdings leider sehr ungewiss aufgrund des schlechten Zustands einiger Brücken.
Am 23.06.2025 wurde 64 1000 mit ihren vier Wagen bei Bistra abgelichtet.
There is still a direct connection from Sighetu Marmației in northern Romania to the capital Bucharest, with the R 4116 to Beclean pe Someş, which carries two through carriages that continue from there to Bucharest on the IRN 1642. Unfortunately, the future of this beautiful mountain route and thus also of the continuous night train service is very uncertain due to the poor condition of some bridges.
