Minneopa Creek Gorge - Minneopa State Park, MN
I liked the way the unusually high flow over the falls provided plenty of froth for interesting swirls on the water.
After all of the rain we received this past week I thought I would visit the falls at Minneopa State park. I had never visited this park and I expected Minneopa Creek to be running high. I was hoping for some fall colors and to capture more dramatic images than my recent visit to the low flowing Hidden Falls. Only a few leaves with color but the early morning light in the gorge was excellent for a nice landscape captured with a longer shutter speed to add a silky nature to the froth.
