Hurritage on the Etowah
After spending 6+ hours dead on the main in Etowah thanks to the 426’s low water alarm taking a dump, M542 was able to lend their mid-train DPU to the cause upon their arrival in Etowah. The fear was though that since it was facing south, you couldn’t rule out the chance of them just adding it to the front of the consist. Once I was done chasing W011 with the intel that a new crew for G685 was OD, I made the trip back north to intercept them around Fairy, hoping that the Interstate was still leading. Thankfully, as you can see here near milepost OOC 371, it was. 1-27-24
