Sunset
I captured this image when I visited Bow Fiddle Rock at Portnockie. I had been down at the waters edge as the evening was drawing to a close. The cloud was getting a bit dark and the colour had gone out of the sky and as I had been on the road since early morning, I was getting a bit tired. As I came up the footpath, I looked across the water towards Caithness and saw bright orange sun beams breaking through the cloud. I ended up almost running along the footpath at the top of the cliffs trying to find a composition before I lost the sun. This image is the result. It is a 103 second exposure at f8 and ISO100 using a NISI CPL, 0.9 hard grad and a 10stop ND Filter.
