My girlfriend passed away...

Dear Flickr user,

 

You see me with my friend Annemiek with whom I lived for over 11 years.

 

We were very focused on each other and loved each other very much.

 

On Tuesday, April 12, Annemiek passed away at the age of 60 from the effects of pancreatic cancer.

 

Annemiek has fought bravely and with a lot of positive energy for the past 9 months, but could not possibly win it.

 

I will miss my dear Annemiek enormously, it saddens me deeply, fortunately I cherish many beautiful memories.

 

The attached photo is from the end of March during a week's holiday in the Netherlands.

 

I would like to share this post to show my unconditional love for Annemiek in this way, now and forever.....
