The whole series of photos was just for fun. The whole layout has been unprotected, taking the dust of four years work using all kind of machines, mostly without vacuumcleaner because... well most jobs start with the idea 'it will be just a few minutes...' but one something unexpectedly reveals 'it would be good to do also...' which often means several days of work, or months, or even years as in this case. The consequence is the acumulatrion of layers and layers of fine dust: saw dust, pastel powders, and so on. It is so bad that noit even mice showed up since startedeight years ago and the few spins (that i always welcomed) are gone, probably frustrated because there was nothing to eat so moved to the kitchen garden where they keep it clean of other insects.
May be now i will give the whole layout a serious cleaning and resume work on it, after four years building the three dioramas. (...but don't take it for granted!)
