Geranium Sanguineum, also known as Bloody Cranesbill or Crimson Geranium, is a hardy, herbaceous, tufted perennial that typically grows tall in a mound, with white-haired, drooping stems that spread over time.

It is native to Europe and Asia and is perhaps the most common type of geranium grown today.

It blooms with pink flowers in the summer and is also known as the county flower.
