Coal Creek Falls Mushroom Discovery

From my day hike today to Coal Creek Falls, I spotted this fungus colony growing on an old snag fronting the falls. It took some doing to position my tripod with each leg separately adjusted both in height and angle. Good thing I brought the monster Gitzo because this was way high up on the rotting snag and my tiny tripod would just not cut it!
