Cape Palliser Lighthouse
We visited the Cape Palliser lighthouse straight after our Putangirua Pinnacles walk so we could experience a beautiful sunset. Well, that is what I had ordered but the weather gods had something else in mind. Not that it put me off. Instead it provided the opportunity for something a little different. The wind drove the steady drizzle right up the hill and onto the front of my lens. I was hoping for a break in the drizzle so that with an LE shot I could blend the sea with the sky. Didn't get that either! Ha ha! I had to do some pp to turn this in a reasonable image though.
