bacon wrapped dove

After years and years of dove hunting this was the first time I had actually cleaned and cooked what I had killed. In fact this was the first time I've eaten dove at all! Normally we give it away to someone else willing to clean it.

 

I've got to say that I have been missing out. The meat was delicious...but then again everything wrapped in bacon is delicious.
