Nicks-2017
Parkhouse & Chrome Hills
Well, obviously a firm favourite with anyone who enjoys photography in the Peak District and having also now made our first trip there we can totally see why.
Not exactly the best of conditions, very dreary and lots of rain showers around (which as always, the minute we head for home, disappear!) There was some very fleeting brightness popped out on occasion and I managed to capture a fraction of it before it reverted to grey and drab. Even so, the hills and rock formations are magical, I'd planned on a nice little walk taking in the summits but alas, as mentioned, weather put paid to that. This is an area of the district we both really enjoyed and amongst the many places we've been to that we will revisit, this will be one that is sooner rather than later.
