Miners Track
The Miners Track up Snowdon is regarded as one of the easier walks up snowdon, however, I soon discovered that with all my gear, water food, wet weather clothes etc, an extra weight of around 20Kgs on my back means even the gentlest of slopes was like an ascent of Everest! Tough day for me, loved it of course, why wouldn't I it's an amazing place.
We'd not long set off from Pen y Pass when the clouds parted and put on quite the show of light on the mountains. Bag down, gear out and off we go. No school trips or the like in the way just yet, that delight was for later in the day :o)
