THE STORY
„You side with the victor, Dawn!!“ General Commander Bates slammed his pale fist on the table, his eyes raging red.
His daughter looked him straight in the eye, unflickering: “I side with what is right.”
“Said a vampire!” he laughed. “What is right…there is no God to judge what is right. There is no God to judge what is moral. The Universe is not moral. You go where the strength is. You side with the rulers. They have the power. They rule over everyone else.”
“Moral order within me is the God that will judge what’s right. Strength and power are within me. I will not sell myself to those that hurt the others. I spit on your ruling class.” She looked at her group of 30: “Let’s go.” They followed.
“You cannot fight the rulers! You will die!” General Commander screamed.

“…Dawn...” Cassius whispered “what will happen to us?”
“We are free” She smiled.
“They will kill us.”
“We are not THAT easy to kill. Besides…if you stayed with them, you would have already been dead. You would have betrayed and killed your spirit.”
“We are already dead. We are vampires.”
“We are UNdead. As long as we exist, we have a spirit. Otherwise, I wouldn’t hear it calling from the depths of my being telling me we are here for the service of others. It is our duty to protect humanity.”
She put on her helmet, started a motorcycle and grinned: “Now…enough of that…let the games begin.”
