MONTHLY CLUB ACTIVITIES
Club activities for the month of June were conducted during zero period. The Quizzard club activities had Class V conducting a quiz on the famous monuments of India, Class IV had a quiz session on flora and fauna of India and the inventors and their inventions, while Class III had a general quiz. The Homeward club engaged students in preparing a delicious vegetable sandwich and discussed the nutritional value of it. Through the Wellness club, the students of Class V were made aware of different types of touch and understood how to stay safe. The Wellness club members of Class IV practiced different yoga postures and brain yoga, while Class III students practiced good postures, meditation and breathing.
The Numerix club helped students to acquire basic knowledge about puzzles and discussed interesting riddles. They were also taught the beautiful art of origami, creating various 2D objects and learned to draw beautiful pictures using numbers. In the Bookbuzz club, students of Class V read the biography of a famous personality of their choice and wrote a description along with the portrait of the personality. The Bookbuzz club of Class IV conducted a reading and writing activity where the students read a story book of their choice and were then encouraged to write a brief summary in their own words. Students of Class III read a book and made a book buzz by writing the names of the characters and details of the author.
