CLUB ACTIVITIES 2022-23 (Classes 3-5)
Various club activities were conducted during zero period.Teachers carried out planned activities in their respective classes. The activities were designed to kindle the student's creativity and resulted in enthusiastic participation and fun-filled learning.
The Numerix club helped students appreciate and acquire basic knowledge of mathematics through engaging in competitive group activities, games, bingo and puzzles.
The Quizzard club contributed by sharpening and updating the knowledge of students on topics like current affairs and Indian monuments.
The Bookbuzz club conducted a reading and speaking activity for Class V students, where they read the book of their choice in class and brushed up their comprehension skills. A role play activity was conducted for Class IV students where they enacted their favourite character. Class III students learnt to draw comic strips based on famous books. The preparation done by the students and their enthusiasm were commendable.
Through the Wellness club the students were imparted awareness on how to keep themselves safe from strangers. Meditation techniques for relaxation and rejuvenation of the body and mind were shared with students, through breathing exercises and demonstration of yoga postures.
The Homeward club engaged the students in preparing a fruit chat and understanding the nutritional value of it.
With the enthusiasm and team work displayed, it was evident, that club activities genuinely help students shape their personal interests and hobbies and also improves their interpersonal and social skills.
