"Not In Use"

The former Griffin Hotel on Wigan's Standishgate now stands empty and no longer in use, as is the bus stop right outside its front door.

 

For a while before its closure the Griffin was a popular pub with the local gay community, yet now there are not many gay clubs/bars outside the big city centres of Manchester and Liverpool.
