SNC 191 at Bromley Market on 25 June 1982. London Country were very proactive in reduced blind displays to shorten the overall length of blinds which mitigated the problem of long blinds frequently suffering torn edges as a result of not running straight on their rollers. But Leyland Nationals took reduced blind displays to a new level with the dirt generated by the warm air pipes within the blind box being impossible to clean from the inner glass because these and the frame for the blind rollers were too close to the glass to get at it.
