Around Chiswick Works
DM 1199 at Chiswick Works on 7 February 1982. This was one of a few DMS`s with a Rolls Royce engine and that made them into `experimental` vehicles. When allocated for service only basic running repairs would be done at garage level and anything specifically involving what ever the experimental part was (the engine in this case) would require a return to Chiswick. With the lower front panel off, it could be that the bus has been towed from Putney Garage to Chiswick.
