Around Chiswick Works
RT 3949 leaving Chiswick Works on 1 March 1979 in its final days of use as sale for scrap was imminent. Interesting to see a few features not common on other Driver Trainers such as the black blanked blind boxes, the L plate in the canopy box, a polished wheel trim and a `driver under instruction` sign on the window over the nearside long seat. It carries an FW garage code so that might be where the bus is heading to and if so could well be running along the 65 route towards Richmond where I will be this coming Sunday on RT 4777.....
