Blenheim Palace

The Red Drawing Room with a lot of family portraits, by renowned artists. On the pillars between the windows are large mirrors, called pier glass. These were designed to throw light back into the room. The ceiling is by Hawksmoor with corner additions by the Ninth Duke of Marlborough.
