Northern Alberta Railway still operated a mixed freight leaving North Edmonton around 6pm. From the lack of anyone ready to ride, we hit this operation at the right time. Apparently, the further north the train went the more people used this service. The crew was loading their gear and my companions are ready to ride to the first stop of Bon Accord. I got to chase the train into a rain storm.
Cost of the ride was a whole $.25 each.
