Lang's Short-tailed Blue ou Common Zebra Blue, is a species of lepidoptera (butterflies) in the family Lycaenidae and the subfamily Polyommatinae. Leptotes pirithous resembles other species, which it can coexist with in Africa. In Europe, it is the only Leptotes, but it looks a little like Lampides boeticus and Cacyreus marshalli, whose zebra patterns on the underside of the wings are however different, It is also found in southern Spain, France and Italy, the Mediterranean islands and coasts, in Asia Minor and further east to the Himalayas.
He likes warm and dry places, sand in which he pumps the minerals he needs
