Abeille coucou
(Melecta luctuosa)
C'est une espèce d'abeille parasite de la famille des Apidae, son hôte étant une abeille du genre Anthophora : Anthophora retusa (Linnaeus, 1758).
Cette " Abeille coucou " est particulièrement rare et menacée dans le nord de l'Europe occidentale (disparue d'Angleterre).
Ici à Rhodes (Grèce), je l'ai vue qu'à quelques endroits et j'ai mis mes 15j de vacances pour réussir à avoir cette photo nette sur les centaines ..de prises, très très en mouvement, une approche trop serrée et elle était 50 cm plus loin et pratiquement toujours les ailes en battement,/

It is a species of parasitic bee of the Apidae family, its host being a bee of the genus Anthophora: Anthophora retusa (Linnaeus, 1758).
This "Cuckoo Bee" is particularly rare and endangered in northern Western Europe (extinct from England).
Here in Rhodes (Greece), I only saw her in a few places and it took my 15 days of vacation to manage to get this clear photo out of the hundreds of shots, very very in motion, too tight an approach and she was 50 cm further and almost always flapping her wings
