Starry Vlei

This unusual shot of Dead Vlei in Namibia is taken in the dark. Long exposure time with a waxing moon is why the exposure turns out like its day time. Dead Vlei has some of the highest sand dunes and is one of the driest places on earth receiving less than 10mm annually.
