I had taken this Monday off work to come to Preston to photograph. The day started with 81019 from New Street to Crewe, present here were; 4149. 1553. 1568. 1636. E3121/60/68/75. Wolverhampton 83014. Crewe 230. 402/6/21/25/34/35/36. 1563/65. 1833. 3907/70/90. E3119/27/32/42/52/53/93/94. 83001/2. 84007. Class 50 435 Crewe to Preston. Hartford 3795. 5276. Warrington 221. 281. 7591. Wigan 449. 1858. 3407. 3833, and then a most enjoyable day at Preston photographing 40.s and 50's seen were 207/211/223/230/244/280/282/292/332/240/341/343/380. 402/406/407/417/418/423/423/425/428/430/436/439/448. Above is Class 50 402 entering Preston station with the Kensington to Perth Motorail service. A great day out made even better by the fact I should have been at work. I then went back to Crewe with 424+421, Loco's seen on the way back to Crewe were, Wigan 235. 5267. 5293. 5295. 1858. 1875. Warrington 176. 3373. 3425. 3764. 1536. 1824. Hartford 227. I spent some time photographing at Crewe were 230/235/282. 403/407/409/411/436/447. 1563/65. 1855. 1919/20. 5022/52/62/82/87. 7634/49. 3798. 3970. 4143. E3067/71. E3106/117/127/147/152/162/165196. 81019. 83009. 84007. 85010. 86005. 86205, were all seen. Then back to New Street with E3167, loco's on view on the way back Stafford E3194.
