A great Day Photographing at Reading September 1973.

I was photographing at Reading Station this day and decided to see if I could take a few picture's from by the old signal box just

near the Junction. If I remember right it was now owned by a butcher's who were using it as office's, It would have been nice to take some picture's from inside , but I took my picture's from the step's of the box, it was good for train's coming out of Reading Station but train's coming in were a bit too far over making it hard to get all the train in at the right angle. I was there for about a hour or so and took a few picture's, here is Class 52 1056 Western Sultan passing the box with 12:26 Paddington Penzance service. I then went back to the station. It was a great day out with lot's to see and photograph. of course I was here to photograph as many Western's as possable 17 were seen here that day : 1005/7/12/13/21/29/34/35/36/43/45/48/50/56/66/69/72 and I managed to photograph quite a few of them great day's.
