Yellow-cheeked Crested Gibbon, a male. National Park Kep. Cambodia.

High risk of extinction in the wild (Endangered). Cambodia.

Gibbons are wonderful! They are born light, turn black at the age of two years; later, the females turn light again, and the males remain black! Gibbons live in the crowns of tall trees and move through them at speeds of up to 50 km / h. Guarding their" high-altitude " territory, they sing in very high voices, using the singing technique that Opera singers have been learning for many years!
