Remember, this way of controlling pain is just a temporary treatment to give you some peace until you are at the dentist’s office.

 

Natural ways to treat tooth pain

You may not find Advil as the right solution for your problem. Therefore, it would be pretty safe to stick with the natural items which could give you pain relief.

 

1.An easy way to get rid of the pain on temporary basis while keeping things safe is to rinse with water having salt saturation. For this purpose, mix Himalayan or Dead Sea salt in a glass of hot water. Slowly stir the water until the salt is fully dissolved. You can rinse with this water 4-5 times per day. It would help you reduce inflammation.

2.Clove oil has an active ingredient, #eugenol, which is known for its pain relieving properties. Dip small cotton swab into the clove oil and apply it in the affected area. if there is an exposed nerve in around the teeth, clove oil will surely give you the very relief you would look for. Make sure that you are placing clove oil in the area accurately.

3.Another way to stop the pain is to keep head in an elevated position. Thus, you need to make sure that your pillow is thick enough to help you with that.

4.Ice therapy is another way to treat tooth pain effectively. So, grab an ice pack and apply it to the affected area. It would surely help you in reducing inflammation.
