Advanced Disposal Premier Rental Truck
Advanced of Shippensburg has 4 of these rentals now. Shippensburg is the yard that the company sends trucks to die. There has been over 30 trucks shipped in from all over the country in the last few years, most of which get put on a route for a few months before having a major breakdown, and getting retired. The resulting mess is a yard with enough trucks on paper, but when 50% are out of service, and the other half so old and tired, they cant handle the routes they're on. Combine all of that with about half the manpower walking out a few months ago, it creates a giant clusterfuck. Lots of routes ran weeks behind, waste streams were all collected together just to get it off the ground, and some crews were doing multiple 8hr routes in a day. Somebody in management finally wise'd up and brought in 2 of these rentals to calm things down, and after a few more breakdowns, 2 more came in.
