Diamonds are Forever

Diamond dust: That morning, it was extremely cold in Yellowstone. Temperature plummeted below negative 20F. Winter's deep freeze was so extreme, that it produced this rare spectacle - diamond dust. It appears when temperature falls so low that the water vapor in the air crystallizes. Tiny ice particles start glittering as they scatter sunlight. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things that I have ever seen.
