UK-Made radio from 1946. Murphy, of Welwyn Garden City, were eventually merged with Bush Radio under the Rank Organisation. Since their inception, Murphy cabinets were mostly in avante-gard designs by progressive designers, many of which were 10 years in advance of the competition.
