Phylloscopus collybita - Common Chiffchaff
Il faisait froid, ce matin, sur le Bassin d'Arcachon, mais la lumière était splendide.
D'habitude, les pouillots chassent les insectes en vol, ou ceux qui sont accrochés dans les arbustes;
aujourd'hui , ils nous ont offert un spectacle que je n'avais encore jamais vu ; Ils chassaient , les larves qui se trouvaient à la surface de l'eau, dans les zones où celle-ci n'avait pas gelée..!
Je suis émerveillée par ces petits passereaux !

It was cold this morning on the Arcachon Bay, but the light was splendid
Usually, chiffchaffs hunt insects in flight, or those clinging to shrubs; today, they gave us a spectacle that I had never seen before; They hunted the larvae which were on the surface of the water, in areas where it was not frozen...I am amazed by these little passerine!
