Telegram Boy

Telegram delivery boy on Hooley Hill. In 1930 General Post Office delivered sixty-five million telegram messages, in 1935 the bicycles the boys used were replaced with a fleet of BSA motor cycles, the car is a Morris eight ( manufactured 1935-48 ) Crossley manufactured buses in Manchester between 1926 & 1958 Telegram service was terminated in 1977
