Getaway Car

1. This photo utilizes framing of the car side mirrors reflecting the background image. The color is also very interesting in the image and the small aperture really focusing on the image in the mirror. There are also a lot of leading lines in the image, from the trim of the car to the fence behind the mirror to the mirror edge itself.

2. I think photos like this are very interesting because they illustrate two different images. There is the anticipated image of whatever the camera is pointed to, but the reflective surface gives more insight to where the photo is and what is experienced. These are especially cool when the image in front is completely juxtaposed to the reflection, such as a sunset of an incoming storm.

3. This was shot in manual aperture mode. I had to really focus on the trim of the car to not have the whole image in focus. It was also sunset, so the ISO had to be pumped up and there still is some grain in the areas that are not in focus. It was also challenging because I was shooting through a car window, so I had to focus past the window and onto the mirror.
