Princely Beguinage Ten Wijngaerde - Bruges, Belgium

The Beguinage in Bruges, founded around 1244, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The small white buildings are from the late 16th, 17th and 18th century.

There are no more Beguines living there, however, this place of silence and peace is the residence of Benedictine nuns nowadays.
