driving home for Christmas

Phew, those hectic days before Christmas. I'll tell you something, I don't like it, because the essential, the meaning of Christmas is lost.
Christmas is the time of humanity and giving. Not everyone is doing well and many are lacking the bare essentials. For this reason, I would like to tell you an event, almost as a little Christmas story. I am sure that each of us has a own personal path to help.
"But tomorrow too !!"
Many of you know that I often take care of my best friend's little daughter. She is a single parent and is grateful for any help. Leonie's mother wants to raise her daughter in firm Christian faith. So, one day I started to practice the prayer "Our Father" with her. One sentence every day and then again and again with repetition. We came to the sentence: "Give us our daily bread today"! With visible confusion, big eyes and a hint of indignation, little Leonie repeated the sentences she had already learned and the new one. But immediately, afterwards, she said: "But tomorrow too !!"
And now I'm driving home for Christmas and I'm so glad that I do not need 15 google maps, I know the way ;-)
