Hôi An (Vietnam) - Je me suis attablé dans un petit restaurant situé dans une ruelle à proximité du marché couvert de la ville. J’ai vite compris que c’était la cantine des manutentionnaires, des motos-taxis et des colporteurs. Au début, on m’a regardé un peu bizarrement, comme si je m’étais trompé d’établissement. La patronne elle, était ravie de ma présence. Les habitués du restaurant m’ont finalement très vite oublié pour se concentrer sur leur assiette.
Pour cette photo de manutentionnaires déjeunant, ma table était légèrement en contrebas. J’ai posé mon appareil photo sur la table, orientant l’objectif dans leur direction et en m’aidant de l’écran arrière pour cadrer discrètement.

Hoi An (Vietnam) - I sat down at a small restaurant located in an alley near the town's covered market. I quickly understood that it was the canteen for handlers, motorcycle taxis and peddlers. At first, people looked at me a little strangely, as if I had come to the wrong establishment. The boss was delighted with my presence. The restaurant's regulars quickly forgot about me and focused on their plates.
For this photo of the warehouse workers eating lunch, my table was slightly lower. I placed my camera on the table, pointing the lens in their direction and using the rear screen to frame discreetly.
